Adam Pineault
Adam Pineault (born 23 May 1986 as Holyoke, Massachusetts) is an American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Eaton Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga since 2009.
Career
Adam Pineault began his career as a hockey player in the team of the U.S. National Team Development Program, for which he was active from 2001 to 2003. Then the attacker played a year for the Boston College before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 in the second round than a total of 46 players from the Columbus Blue Jackets.
First, however, the right-handed shooter ran from 2004 to 2006 for the Moncton Wildcats in the Canadian top junior league in the QMJHL, with whom he won the Coupe du Président in the season 2005/ 06. In his first two seasons in Columbus franchise Pineault was mainly used in their farm team in the American Hockey League, the Syracuse Crunch. In the 2007 /08 season of American made his debut in the National Hockey League for the Blue Jackets, where he remained point and impunity in three games. After Pineault had started the 2008/09 season with the Syracuse Crunch, he was discharged January 10, 2009 in exchange for Michael Blunden to the Chicago Blackhawks for their AHL farm team Rockford IceHogs he stood up to the end of the season exclusively on the ice.
Internationally
For the U.S., Pineault participated in the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2003 and the U20 Junior World Championship 2005 part.
