Adam Robak

Adam Ryszard Robak (* July 16 1957 in Warsaw, Poland ) is a former Polish fencer.

Adam Robaks first big success was the team world champion in foil at the World Fencing Championships 1978 in Hamburg. In his Olympic participation at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, he won the team bronze medal in the individual he was tenth. In 1987 he ended his active career and was fencing coach. In the period from 1988 to 1992, Adam Robak worked at the Fencing Club Grunewald Berlin eV, advancing to the 1993 Olympic Sports Club Berlin as head coach in the junior and performance sport at the weapons foil and epee. During his time at OSC Berlin Robak was from 1997 to 2002 national coach of wheelchair fencers in foil and prepared his fencer successfully on numerous European Champion, World Champion and World Cup titles before. In 2000, Adam Robak accompanied as national coach the national wheelchair to Paralympics in Sydney, his student Esther Weber wreath reached in individual as well as in the Women's Foil team the bronze medal. Since September 2006, Adam Robak works in Minden for the AS sports and health center as a fencing coach and fitness trainer.
