Adamello Ski Raid

The Adamello Ski Raid is a taking place annually Italian ski mountaineering competition, held at Passo Tonale.

It is started in teams of three, and with classic equipment at the Tonale Pass, from where a route length of 40 kilometers at 3,400 meters of altitude on the rise and more than 4,000 must be defeated for the departure to destination in Ponte di Legno. Large parts of the demanding track be above the 3,000 - foot mark.

The International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions ( ISMC ) determined in the context of the creation of the International calendar Adamello Ski Raid as a final competition for the European Cup in ski mountaineering, also found in the context of the match here, the youth team races ( " Junior " and " Cadets " ) at the European Championships in ski mountaineering 2001.
