Adana kebabı

Adana kebab is a meat dish of Turkish cuisine, one specialty from the Turkish city of Adana. It mainly consists of special skewers over charcoal grilled minced meat and is a spicy version of kofte dar. In stock grilled tomatoes and peppers, pita bread, parsley, lemon, radish, lettuce and spicy red onions to be served; rarely there are also rice and Čačík it.

Traditionally, the meat in Adana is produced by large knives by hand from fatty mutton or lamb. Seasoned it with salt and chilli flakes, which are called in Turkish Pul Biber and ensure the sharpness. The finished composition is divided into portions that are each divided into two elongated halves and then kneaded together for grilling a flat metal skewer around again.
