Adductor longus muscle

The adductor longus (Latin for " long adductor muscle " ) is one of the adductors of the thigh. He is medial (inside) from the musculus pectineus.

The adductor longus is associated with the ungulates with the musculus pectineus. This muscle is united however only called musculus pectineus. In the dog, this can also occur as a variety.

The adductor longus flexes the hip and adducts the thigh, so pulling it towards the center of the body.
