Adept Technology

Adept Technology GmbH (also adept short) is a listed manufacturer of automation technology from Pleasanton, in the U.S. state of California. Focuses on industrial automation and robotics, as well as associated control software and computer vision.

Adept was founded in 1983 as a department of robotics manufacturer Unimation and is now the largest U.S. Robotics manufacturer and world's largest manufacturer of SCARA robots. Adept has several secondary seats in the United States, as well as in Dortmund, Paris and Singapore.
