ADEXA The pharmacy union

ADEXA is a German trade union for employees and trainees in community pharmacies based in Hamburg.

It acts as the sole collective party to the Employers' Association of German pharmacies ( ADA) and the other employer organizations working conditions and salaries. Represented are all professionals who work in community pharmacies ( pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician, Pharmaceutical clerk, pharmacy engineers, etc.), as well as the trainees, interns and pharmacy interns. In 2012, around 148 700 people worked in pharmacies, including approximately 131,600 as employees and trainees.

History

1949 was the "Tariff Community German Staff Pharmacist " was founded. In 1954 she was disbanded and replaced by the Federation of employees in pharmacies ( BVA) as the immediate successor. 2004, the BVA was in " ADEXA - The pharmacy union " renamed.

Destinations & Offers

Objectives of Adexa are to improve the working conditions of pharmacy employees and job security. This will be achieved by the conclusion of collective agreements with the relevant employers' organizations and the protection of the rights by collective bargaining coverage.

In addition, the union legal advice and representation in labor disputes for members, and shall inform the members also have professional pharmacy internal policy, including by its own magazine spectrum. In addition, information for students and prospective students are provided.

Organization

The union is divided into 17 regional groups with 17 volunteers also state associations.

All members are assigned depending on the design of one of the four subject groups. The sections represent the specific interests of the individual professional groups.

The chairmen of the 17 national councils form the advisory board. The Advisory Board members represent the opinion of the national group members and national councils. You choose the board. Whose term of office is five years. It consists of the First and Second Chairman.

Collective agreements

With effect from July 1, 2013, the Employers' Association German pharmacies ( ADA) and ADEXA have signed a new content agreement with two -year term for all chamber districts except North Rhine and Saxony. In the first year (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 ) PTA get to the 8th year of employment and PKA to the 9th year of employment 3.0 percent more. For PTA and PCA with more experience, the salary increases by 2.8 percent. Pharmacist, pharmacist assistant, pharmacy and pharmacy assistant engineers also get 2.8 percent more. The training allowance for pharmacists in the internship ( PhiP ) increases from 670 euros to 750 euros per month. In PTA interns, the monthly fee of 533 increased to 633 euros. PKA trainees now receive 633 euros in the first year of training instead of 533 euros. For trainees in the second year, the monthly fee of 604 increases to 684 euros, and in the 3rd year of 664 to 724 euros. On January 1, 2012, an employer-financed company pension plan was introduced by ADA and ADEXA. For the chamber district of North Rhine a new collective agreement was concluded with effect from March 1, 2014. PTA interns and PKA - trainees in the first year of training, each receive € 100 per month more in PKA trainees in the second year and pharmacists in the internship are in the first six months of PJs plus 80 euros. PKA in the third year get 60 euros more. The salaries of employees who have completed training to increase from 3 to 5.7 percent ( pharmacists and PCAs on average 3.9 percent, PTA average of 4.3 percent). In the performance -based pay, the maximum amount has been increased from 1.5 percent of the annual tariff base salary to 3.0 percent.

In the chamber district of Saxony there is no content of the collective agreement. Here ADEXA calls for a minimum wage.

There is also a federal framework agreement of 2011 for all districts with the exception of Saxony chamber ( discharge the employer from the employers' association ) and North (here the framework agreement Nordrhein applies ). The federal framework agreement was terminated on 31 December 2013 by the Employers' Confederation German pharmacies. So far, the collective bargaining have failed to do so.

ADEXA is a founding member of Community Pharmacists employed in Europe ( ivy ). Ivy is an umbrella association of European trade unions and associations representing employees pharmacists from community pharmacies.
