Adldorf is a district of the municipality of Oak village in the district of Dingolfing- Landau in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Bavaria.

History

The ducal fief Arlen village or Arldorf and nobility village was awarded to various vassals over the centuries. In the mid-18th century, the extensive Country Estate came to the counts of Tattenbach to Baumgarten. After the death of Joseph Ferdinand kurbayerischen Minister Count of Reinstein - Tattenbach in 1802 inherited the kurbayerischer chamberlain Count Heinrich Christian von Tattenbach, as a representative of the younger line, the possession.

When he died childless on 3 October 1821 he bequeathed Adldorf including the local existing since 1671 brewery by testamentary disposition to his nephew Maximilian von Arco. 1854 received the additional name on the Arcos Valley.

From 1808 up to the local government reform in Bavaria Adldorf was a separate municipality. On 1 July 1972, they became part of the market village of oak. On the railway line opened in 1915 Aufhausen - Kröhstorf Adldorf had its own railway station.

Attractions

  • The castle burned down in 1836 and again on 31 December 1906. Its present form was it in the reconstruction in 1907.
