Adolf Alexander Dillens

Adolf Alexander Dillens, Adolphe Alexandre Dillens ( born January 9, 1821 in Ghent, † 1 January 1877 in Brussels) was a Belgian painter.

Dillens learned to paint from his older brother Hendrik Dillens, starting with the historic genre and gained for his 1848 issued in Brussels Read The five senses and Sunday in Flanders a price.

A visit to Zeeland meant that henceforth he represented the people of this province Dutch in all their costumes and customs. He died in January 1877 in Brussels.
