Adolf Lu Hitler Marak

Adolf Lu Hitler R. Marak is an Indian politician of the Nationalist Congress Party from Meghalaya.

Marak was a member of the Parliament of Meghalaya to 2003 and a member of the Government of Meghalaya in the Cabinets of Evansius Kek Mawlong and Flinder Anderson Khonglam. In March 2008, Marak was re-elected to parliament in the state. He also acts as Chairman of the Committee for public functions.

In June 2003, he came under suspicion of contacts with the militant group Achik National Volunteers ' Council to entertain, and was briefly taken into custody.

Marak is named after the German dictator Adolf Hitler. Such naming is not uncommon in the Indian state of Meghalaya. Other local politicians called Lenin R. Marak, Stalin L. Nangmin or Frankenstein W. Momin.
