Adolfo Schwelm-Cruz

Adolfo Julio Carlos Schwelm -Cruz ( born June 28, 1923 in Buenos Aires, † February 10, 2012 ) was an Argentine racing driver.

In 1949 Schwelm Cruz drove first professional race in Italy with an Alfa Romeo 6C 2300. Two years later, the championship victory was in the national sports car racing series in Argentina, which helped him to national prominence.

In the season 1953 Schwelm Cruz participated at his home race, the Grand Prix of Argentina, in a Cooper T20. Although he was able to qualify in 13th place for the race, but retired after only 20 laps due to a suspension caused by breakage Radverlustes the first driver out of the race.
