Adrian Cann

Adrian Cann (born 19 September 1980 in Thornhill, Ontario ) is a Canadian soccer player.

Career

College

Cann played from 2000 to 2003 in the college soccer team of the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. In his first year he was able to establish himself in the starting lineup of the team. At the end of the first season, he was inducted into the first choice team All- Conference USA. In the following years he was able to achieve several awards.

Professional

After his college degree Cann participated in the MLS SuperDraft 2004 part. There he was selected by the Colorado Rapids. In the Rapids, he completed two games and was released mid-season in 2004 because of restrictions on foreigners in the team. A little later, he moved to Montreal Impact in the USL A-League.

2006 Cann left the club and then played for the Vancouver Whitecaps, where he worked in the second highest league ( USSF Division 2 Professional League ) played 58 games and was able to score a goal. The young man remained for two years with this club and moved on to Danish club Esbjerg fB. He completed just 14 league games for Esbjerg fB. In 2010, he left the team and tried a trial at Toronto FC. At the end of the training, he was obliged for a season.

Cann plays since 2008 for the Canadian national team and has played more 8 games for Canada. Cann ran in two games during the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup, but failed to qualify for the finals in South Africa with Canada.
