Adriana Kučerová

Adriana Kučerová ( born February 24, 1976 in Lučenec ) is a Slovak soprano.

At the age of 22, she broke her teacher training course at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica on to pursue her musical career. She attended the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Lyon and the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Adriana Kučerová won the 2001 European Youth Music Award in Hamburg and in 2005 at the Vienna Chamber Opera the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in the field of opera. Commitment they had, inter alia, as in La finta giardiniera Serpetta during the Salzburg Festival 2006, in Dido and Aeneas at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan or as Sophie in a production of Werther at the Bavarian State Opera.
