AEA Explorer
The AEA Explorer ( sometimes referred to as Explorer Explorer ) is a multi-purpose aircraft manufactured in Australia by Aero Engineers Australia.
History and construction
The Explorer is a single-engine high-wing monoplane with retractable tricycle landing gear strutted and conventional tail unit. Called the Explorer 350R prototype first flew on 23 January 1998 and then began a promotional tour of Australia and the United States. The Explorer is currently available in two versions - the version turbopropgetriebene 500T (the first flew in 2000) and the stretched version of the 500T, the 750T for a pilot and sixteen passengers. The company plans to offer even float for the machine in the future.
In Texas, the subsidiary Explorer Aircraft was founded to market the aircraft on the U.S. market.
