Aero Mongolia is a Mongolian airline from Ulaanbaatar.

History

The airline was founded in 2002 by Mongolian Airlines and began with the first flights on 25 May 2003. Should serve as a feeder for the Mongolian Airlines, Korean Air, Air China and Aeroflot to promote their international objectives at the Ulaanbaatar airport. The airline has 130 employees ( October 2008).

The first Fokker 50 was delivered in December 2002. The first Fokker 100 in January 2006. With the arrival of the Fokker 100, Aero Mongolia took first flights to South Korea. The end of 2006 a line to Tianjin in China was established.

Objectives

The airline serves mainly national segments. For a short time, it also offers two international segments. The hub is the Chinggis Khaan International Airport near Ulaanbaatar.
