AeroPress

The Aeropress is a manual coffee preparation device. It consists of a brewing cylinder, a plunger and a filter holder which can be fixed to the bottom of the brewing cylinder. The Aeropress was invented in 2005 by the American Alan Adler.

Principle of operation

The filter is fixed by means of the filter holder on the brewing cylinder. In the brewing cylinder, the ground coffee is mixed with the brewing water and pressed the brewing water with the plunger through the filter into a cup or a pot.

Compared to other brewing methods
