Aeschi with Burgäschisee

Aeschi is a municipality in the district water office of the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland, not to be confused with Spiez, another political community, however, located in the Administrative District Frutigen- Niedersimmental the canton of Bern. Since 1 January 2012 the former municipality Steinhofgründe heard as Solothurn exclave in the Bernese region Aargau new to the community Aeschi (SO).

Geography

The municipality consists of the villages Aeschi Aeschi, Burgäschi and Steinhofgründe. South of Burgäschi is the Burgäschisee.

Neighboring municipalities are: to the north Etziken, Bolken; in the east Niederönz, Herzogenbuchsee, Bettenhausen and Hermiswil; in the south Seeberg; the west three courtyards.
