AFNLP

AFNLP (Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing Association ) is an organization that is dedicated to the dissemination of information on computational linguistics ( natural language processing ). To this end, the organization contacts in the regions of Asia and beyond her, initiated collaborations between research institutions and organizes workshops, conferences and seminars on topics related to natural language processing.

History

The AFNLP was launched on 4 October 2000 to life.

Currently, many initiatives to computational linguistics in Asia have been launched which are to be regarded as part of the opening in Asia in the wake of globalization. These include:
