The Afon Glaslyn (English " River Glaslyn " ) is a river in the county of Gwynedd in Wales. With a length of about 30 km, it is next to the Afon Conwy the most important river in Gwynedd.

In Beddgelert joins from the right of the Afon Colwyn.

From here, the Glaslyn flows in a southerly direction and crosses the narrow Aberglaslyn Pass. At the bridge Pont Aberglaslyn the river reaches the Traeth Mawr, be the beginning of the 19th century reclaimed former estuary. In this flat area open from the left of the Afon Nanmor and the Afon Dylif.

After it has passed through the Traeth Mawr, the Afon Glaslyn reached the city Porthmadog, where it is crossed by the Harbour Bridge or the Britannia Bridge (not to be confused with the eponymous bridge over the Menai Strait). He then forms the harbor of the town and flows into together with the Afon Dwyryd in Cardigan Bay.
