Afonso Guimarães da Silva
Afonsinho ( born March 8, 1914 in Rio de Janeiro, † 20 February 1997, ibid; actually Affonso Guimarães da Silva ) was a Brazilian football player.
Career
During his club career, born in Rio Afonsinho exclusively played for clubs of his hometown. With Fluminense he won the state championship three times and the América FC once.
In addition, the midfielder stepped up to the Brazilian national team, with whom he participated in the World Cup in France twice in the Copa America and 1938.
