African Handball Confederation

The African Handball Federation (franz: Confédération Africaine de Handball; CAHB ) is the governing body for handball in Africa with 45 national member associations and one of five continental federations of the International Handball Federation.

It was founded in 1973 by 20 nations at the 2nd Handball African Cup of Nations in Lagos / Nigeria and has its headquarters in Abidjan / Ivory Coast. President is the Ivorians Christophe Yapo Achy. The official languages ​​are English, French and Arabic.
