Africanus Fabius Maximus

Africanus Fabius Maximus was a Roman politician and senator of the Augustan period.

Africanus was from a noble family, the Fabians and Quintus Fabius Maximus was the son of, the SuffektKonsuls in the year 45 BC Africanus Fabius Maximus older brother Paullus, consul 11 BC, was married to a cousin of the Emperor Augustus - thus belonged Africanus the imperial family. Africanus held in the year 10 BC together with Iullus Antonius, son of Marcus Antonius, the ordinary consulate. Between 9 BC and 4 AD ( probably around 6/5 BC) he was proconsul of the province of Africa. Africanus was also epulonum Septemvir.
