Afristar

Afristar ( also referred to as Afristar 1) is a satellite broadcast of the operator WorldSpace, which supplies mainly Africa, but also Europe and the Middle East.

After the bankruptcy of the operator the future of satellite is unclear. WorldSpace had already planned to put the satellite into a graveyard orbit, now he has been transferred but as a bankruptcy estate to the company Yazmi that is as WorldSpace also directed by Noah Samara.

In June 2013, in Europe two stations receive: World Radio Network WRN1 (English), WRN2 ( German / French). Moreover, even the data service Omnisat receive.
