Afterglow

As sunset refers to a reddish color of the evening sky when the sun is low, ie usually at sunset.

The cause of the red color is analogous to the emergence of Dawn ( more details here ).

A red evening sky is considered by farmers as a sign rules for nice weather ( afterglow, good Wetterbot ), while a sailor usually just says the opposite ( afterglow makes sailor dead).
