The effects on the abandoned technology, the cities, but also on flora and fauna are considered in more detail. It covers both the domestic, captive and free-ranging animals.

The earth is 4.5 billion years old. In the last 10,000 years, humanity lumbered around half of the forests. These would grow back without the people of 500 years. Half of the available fresh water on the planet was consumed by humans. In addition, two-thirds of the rivers were channeled and dammed. After 200 years, the rivers would be exempted from the largest dams in the world and have cleaned by the self-healing power of nature. In recent years, the industrial age, the annual output was 13.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide. The plants and the sea would be able to compensate for this load within a few centuries. The urban development would expire after 120 years. After 25 years, the largest proportion of contaminated destroyed by nuclear power plants matter would be seeping into the ground.
