Agam Regency
Agam is an Indonesian government district ( kabupaten ) in the Province of Sumatera Barat (West Sumatra), with its capital Lubuk Basung.
Covering an area of 2232.3 square kilometers and 459 487 inhabitants ( 2011).
In the center of Agam is the town of Bukittinggi, next to the Maninjau Lake is a popular tourist destination.
