Agata Tuszyńska

Agata Tuszyńska ( born May 25, 1957 in Warsaw, People's Republic of Poland) is a Polish writer, poet and journalist.

Life

Tyszyńskas mother survived the German persecution of the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto. Agata joined the State Theatre Academy in Warsaw and received his doctorate from the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In the years 1987 to 1992 she was a lecturer at the Warsaw Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Until 1998, she was then a lecturer at the Centre for Journalism in Warsaw. Since 2001 she has taught courses for reportage and literature history at the University of Warsaw and since 2011 she is working on a documentary Institute in the Polish capital.
