Aghora (band)

Aghora is a progressive metal band from Miami, Florida.

Band History

The band was founded in 1995 by Santiago Dobles ( guitar). After several demos, the band released in 2000 their self-titled debut album. Aghora recorded, and produced by Santiago Dobles and Dan Escauriza in Miami, 1999 The album was, among others, Sean Malone and Sean Reinert -. Both members of the band Cynic - recorded. Since the debut and the next album Formless took almost seven years, during which occurred the band among other things, Amorphis, Kamelot, atheist and Sonata Arctica. The album was produced by Santiago Dobles and Neil Kernon (including producer for Nevermore, Dokken, Nile and Cannibal Corpse ). As a singer Diana Serra has been with the band since this album. The album was released both as in-house production as well as via Season of Mist.

Music style

The Progressive Metal Aghora feeds from several different styles of music, so from various metal styles like death metal and thrash metal, but also world music, fusion and jazz.
