Ai Hashimoto

Ai Hashimoto (Japanese桥本 爱, Ai Hashimoto; born January 12, 1996 in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese model and actress.

Career

Her mother reported the then twelve -year-old Ai Hashimoto was commissioned in 2008 for the huahua Audition of the entertainment company Newcome Inc., where she won the Grand Prix and Sony Music Artists ( SMA) under contract. In 2009 she was chosen as Miss Seventeen magazine Seventeen and beat off competitors by 5267.

Her acting debut was in the low-budget film Give and Go ( 2009), in which she plays a hearing impaired girl who adores basketball. In 2010 she played the role of Mizuki Kitahara in the psychological thriller Confessions, which came as a Japanese contribution under the last nine for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2011. In 2012 she played the role of Sadako in the horror film Sadako 3D.
