Aidenbachstraße (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station Aidenbachstraße is a railway station of the Munich U -Bahn, and is located in the immediate vicinity of the former tram stop Ratzingerplatz.

It was opened on 28 October 1989 and is as the street named after the Lower Bavarian town Aidenbachstraße. The rear track walls were painted blue and have on each side 12 double mirror. The ceiling, like all 1989 stations opened canopy- shaped sheet metal panels, attach the two light bands on the edges. The ceiling above the tracks disappear in the dark. The pillars in the middle of the laid with Isarkiesel motif platform are covered with white tiles and the corners are rounded with aluminum. At the northwestern end of an escalator and a lift into a lock floor and from there lead roll and fixed stairs to Aidenbachstraße and the bus station. At the other end is also a barrier projectile to reach and further Gmunder road.
