Aiguille de Rochefort

The Aiguille de Rochefort is a 4001 m high mountain between Dent du Géant and the Dôme de Rochefort in the massif of the Grandes Jorasses. It lies on the border between France and Italy in the Mont- Blanc massif. The saddle height is 106 meters to the Dôme de Rochefort and the dominance is 0.6 kilometers to the Dent du Géant. The first ascent was made on August 14, 1873 by Alphonse Payot, Michel Clément Payot and J. Eccles.
