Aikido Yuishinkai

Koretoshi Maruyama (Japanese丸山 维敏, Maruyama Koretoshi; born October 5, 1936 in Tokyo ) is a senior Japanese Aikidōlehrer.

As a student he started with boxing, wrestling and judo ( where he brought it up to 1st Dan ). From 1957 he practiced Aikido and was uchideshi at the Aikikai under Ueshiba Morihei. After a degree in economics at Keio University, he worked in his father's company, announced this activity, however, in 1967 to be in full-time Ueshiba Aikido instructor.

In 1972 he followed Tohei Koichi and was awarded the rank of 8th Dan head coach in the Ki no Kenkyukai. From 1973 he was the representative of the Ki- Aikido in Hawaii. Koretoshi Maruyama taught successfully Ki- Aikido all over the world, 1990, the President of Ki no Kenkyukai and was the designated successor of Koichi Tohei was. In 1991 he retired but surprisingly in a Zen monastery in Saitama back. He remained there until 2001 and developed his Aikido Yuishinkai, with the embedded system health Yuki.
