Air Burundi

Air Burundi is an airline based in Bujumbura Burundi.

History

Air Burundi was established in 1975, the operations were abandoned for financial reasons in 2009. Since then, the company existed only as a ground handler at Bujumbura airport, as a cargo carrier and travel agent. 2013 was planned with two donated Xi'an MA60 with the help of the People's Republic of China, the resumption of flight operations. To date, the operations could not be resumed due to lack of aviation experts.
