Air Caledonia New Caledonia is an airline based in Noumea. Your hub is the Magenta Airport.

History

On 9 December 1954, the airline was founded under the name Transpac Airlines, where the local government held 76 % of the shares. In 1968, the company then took the name of Air Caledonia. The airline used Cessna 310 and De Havilland Canada DHC -6 "Twin Otter". In 1983, the Air carried 135,000 passengers Caledonia.

In 1987 the fleet to four ATR 42 and a Dornier Do 228 was renewed, which allowed an increase in passenger numbers to over 180,000. At the base of Noumea in New Caledonia, some feeder flights for Air France and Qantas Airways are performed.
