History

After the end of the 1930s the technique aerotowing had come up to help launch gliders, the students Akaflieg Munich decided to try out this new technology at that time. For this purpose, the two students Egon disc and Viktor Urban designed the Mu 6 Their goal was to build a very light and robust pilot. With a Messerschmitt Me 23 b 1931, the first aircraft towing the group were ( and some of the first ever) performed at the Akaflieg Munich. The last flight took place in August 1934, by then 23 flight hours with the single-seater.
