Akeem Adams

Elijah Akeem Adams ( born April 13, 1991, Point Fortin, † December 30, 2013 in Budapest) was a football player from Trinidad and Tobago.

Life

Career

Adams played in his home on Senior level 2008-2013 for the Central FC, ​​T & TEC SC, United Petrotrin and W Connection in the TT Pro League, the top division in Trinidad and Tobago. In the summer of 2013 he moved to Hungary in the Nemzeti National Championship to Ferencvaros Budapest, where he ran aground in seven league games.

Internationally

Adams went through all the junior national teams of Trinidad and Tobago. He took part in the U-17 World Cup in South Korea and in 2009 at the U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2007. His first of nine A- internationals graduated from the then 16 -year-old in March 2008.

Death

On September 25, 2013 Adams suffered a heart attack after a training session. Following this, he had to undergo three operations. Here, the left leg of the nine-time national player had to be amputated. From then on, Adams was waiting for a donor heart. On December 28, 2013 Adams suffered a stroke and fell into a coma. On December 30, 2013, died in the Városmajori Heart Clinic in Budapest.
