Akif Çağatay Kılıç

Akif Çağatay Kılıç ( born June 15, 1976 in Siegen) is a Turkish political scientist and politician.

Life and political career

Çağatay Kılıç arrived in Germany as the son of a physician born and lived until the age of 10 there. He attended a primary school in Angsleah. In Istanbul, he continued his education at Işık High School and the German School. After graduating from high school, he studied politics and European Studies at the State University of Hertfordshire, north of London and worked for the Turkish Sabancı Holding in London.

Çağatay Kılıç began shortly after a political career. He worked as a political consultant and soon became one of the inner circle to the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whom he often accompanied her on trips abroad.

As a member of the ACP since 2011 he is a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and represents the constituency of Samsun. He sits on the exclusion of Foreign Affairs. Since December 25, 2013 he is the successor of Suat Kılıç Minister of Sport and Youth in Turkey.

Çağatay Kılıç comes from a political family. His uncle was 2008-2010 General Secretary of the National Security Council of Turkey, his grandfather was 1961-1980 deputy of CHP in the National Assembly.

Çağatay Kılıç is married.
