al-Arabiya

Al -Arabiya (Arabic: العربية, DMG al - ʿ Arabiya, Al Arabiya English written German and Al- Arabiya ) is an Arabic-language news channel from Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates.

The television station was established on 3 March 2003 as part of the media group MBC. He sees himself as an independent 24 - hour news station that responds particularly dependent on the interests of the Arab world, and is considered the biggest competitor of the more well-known news channel Al Jazeera from Qatar.

The Group MBC is owned by Saudi investors.
