Alabama State Route 40

Alabama State Route 40 is a highway in the U.S. state of Alabama, which runs in an east - west direction.

The Highway 35 begins south of Scottsboro at Alabama State Route and ends in Hammondville at the Alabama State Route 117, the State Route runs south of Scottsboro along the Lookout Mountains. About a mile to the eastern end meets the AL 117 on Interstate 59
