Alaina Reed Hall
Alaina Reed Hall (actually Bernice Ruth Reed, born November 10, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio, † December 17, 2009 in Santa Monica, California ) was an American actress.
Life
Reed began her dramatic career in Broadway and off -Broadway productions known musicals, before she became famous in 1976 with the role of Olivia in Sesame Street to a wide audience. In 1985 she began her second major role in the sitcom 227, which is why it three years later ( had to Reed commute between the production New York and Los Angeles ), the Olivia gave up.
After the end of the sitcom in 1990, she played roles as a guest on television series ( as in Ally McBeal, NYPD Blue or Blossom ) and occasionally in feature films. She also dubbed cartoons.
Reed was married three times and has two children from his first marriage; her second marriage to actor Kevin Peter Hall ended with his early death in 1991. On December 17, 2009, she died from the effects of breast cancer.
