Alan Duncan

Alan Duncan (born 31 March 1957) is a British, Conservative politician of the Conservative Party.

Life

Duncan was born in 1957 in Rick Mann Worth, Hertfordshire. His father worked for the Royal Air Force and his mother was a teacher. The family moved due to the occupation of Duncan's father NATO is often, among other things, Gibraltar, Italy and Norway. After leaving school, Duncan was educated at Oxford at St John 's College and Harvard University. After Duncan was from 1979 worked in the oil industry the company Royal Dutch Shell until 1981 and moved in 1982 to the commodity trader Marc Rich, for whom he worked until 1988. In the British general election in 1992 Duncan was first elected as MP for the constituency Rutland & Melton in the British House of Commons. In the following general election Duncan were each re-elected as an MP.

2002 Duncan had his public coming out in the policy. He lives with his life partner James Dunseath, whom he married on 24 July 2008, together. Duncan has written two books authored:
