Albayzín

The Albaicin (older spelling also Albaycín ) is the oldest neighborhood of Granada in Spain. It is in its origin back to the Moorish period of Spain, with remains of walls suggest a settlement since the times of the Iberians and Romans.

The district Albaicin is located on one of the three mountain ridge on which the city of Granada was built, with views of the Alhambra.
