Albert H. Bosch

Albert Henry Bosch ( born October 30, 1908 in New York City; † 21 November 2005 in Amityville, New York) was an American lawyer and politician. Between 1953 and 1960 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Albert Henry Bosch was born six years before the outbreak of the First World War in New York City. He attended public schools and then went to the St. John's University School of Law, where he graduated in 1933 with a Bachelor of Laws. His admission to the bar he received in 1938 and then began to practice in New York City in his own law firm. Bosch also received approval for the Ministry of Finance and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has also served as a trustee for the Hamburg Savings Bank in Ridgewood. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 1952 he was in the fifth electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Robert Tripp Ross on January 4, 1953. He was re-elected three times in a row and was active until his resignation on 31 December 1960 at the Congress.

Bosch was elected on December 31, 1960 Judge of the District Court in Queens, a position which he held until September 1, 1962. At that time he was elected judge of the New York Supreme Court for the Eleventh Judicial District. He held this position until reaching his retirement on 31 December 1974. Bosch died on 21 November 2005 in Amityville and was then buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens.
