Albert Miller (athlete)

Albert Miller ( Albert Barry Miller, born December 12, 1957 in Kasavu ) is a Fijian decathlete and hurdler.

In 1983 he won at the South Pacific Games in Apia in the decathlon and won silver in the 110m hurdles. In the decathlon of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he gave up.

In 1986 he was at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh tenth in the decathlon. The following year he defended at the South Pacific Games in Noumea his title in the decathlon and was again second in the 110m hurdles. At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, he finished in the decathlon 32nd place and dropped about 110 m hurdles in the flow.

In 1991 he won at the South Pacific Games in Port Moresby for the third time in a row in the decathlon and won bronze in the 110m hurdles. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he came in the decathlon at rank 24 and was eliminated in the 110m hurdles in the first round. In 1995 he took at the South Pacific Games in Papeete silver in the decathlon.

Since 2010 he is President of the Fijian Association of Athletics Federations.
