Albert Salvadó

Albert Salvadó (* 1951 in Andorra la Vella ) is an Andorran Industrial Engineering and Catalan author.

Life

He writes novels, essays and short stories (the latter particularly in the area of child and youth narratives ). He became known primarily for his historical novel, which always reality and fiction together and often contain elements of detective fiction or " mystery thriller ". Albert Salvadó is one of the Catalan author with the most publications in Spanish-speaking book market until 2004 were only seven of his works - translated by himself - appeared in Spanish.

Awards

Salvadó twice won the Premi Nestro Luján de novel · la Historica ( Nestor Lujan Prize for Historical Fiction), 1998 El mestre de Kheops and 2005 with La gran concubina d' Amon; his novel L' enigma de Constanti el Gran was nominated in 1997 for this award.

In 2002 he was awarded the 36,000 Euro doped Premi de Carle Many novel · la (Karl der Große- Prize for the novel ) for his book Els ulls d' Anníbal.
