Albert Sánchez Piñol
Albert Sánchez Piñol (born 1965 in Barcelona, Spain ) is a Spanish anthropologist and writer. He is best known for his novel The Big Silence, which was translated into 28 languages , and honored with some awards ( Ojo Crítico 2003, Premi Llibreter ). Sánchez Piñol is a member of the Centre of African Studies and has worked on the Mbuti Pygmies in the eastern DRC. He was an employee at some encyclopedias.
