Albion House is a building in James Street in Liverpool. It was built in 1896-1898 for the Ismay, Imrie and Company, a subsidiary of the White Star Line. Designed have the building architect Richard Norman Shaw, the two and James Francis Doyle. The facade is made of white Portland stone and red brick. When in 1912 the news of the sinking of the Titanic reached the office, the employees were afraid to leave the building and gathered in front of the names of the dead from the balcony. During the Second World War, the pediment was damaged and rebuilt in the late 1940s.

The name Albion is an old term for England. From the local population, it is jokingly called because of its appearance streaky bacon building because it looks like bacon.
