Alcantarilha is a Freguesia (municipality ) in the concelho ( circle) of Silves.

Within an area of 24.6 km ² 2535 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). The population density is therefore 103 people per km ². The place was levied 1999 Vila ( town ).
