The Alchemist under the aufgestängerten Hüttentalstraße
The Alchemist is a 11.52 km long, right or northern tributary of the victory in the winner country. Its catchment area covers an area of 23.58 km ².
Geography
Course
The Alchemist rises in the northern Freudenberger mountains northwest of Buhl. After about 140 m, it flows through a pond and continues east toward Oberholzklau in the nature reserve " Richelsbach and alchemist ." Before you place the brook flowing further south, at Buhl himself over. After the village it runs southeast and south or south-east again through Alchen, where the river got its name. Next in a southeasterly direction it flows out of Alchen and meets shortly before Seelbach on its longest tributary, the almost 4 km long Lederbach. In a large left turn, it flows through Seelbach and turns slightly northeast past the neighboring Trupbach. After Trupbach turns the river and flows back south-east in the direction of victory. The alchemist then passes to the Fischbacherberg in Siegen and flows in a southerly direction flowing south-west of Siegen station in the victory.
