Alcoholic hallucinosis
An alcohol hallucinosis is a form of alcohol psychosis and subsequent pathological changes of the brain by alcohol. The person feels insulted and maltreated by ( hallucinated ) votes. This interference image is classified in ICD10 as F10.52.
Symptoms
The most important symptom is auditory hallucination. In general, this is associated with the second main symptom of anxiety.
Therapy
The therapy is an alcohol withdrawal under professional supervision and an additional weaning and monitoring (eg psychotherapy, self-help group).
